Anyone know what the two attachable fiberglass flairs at the rear of the boat actually do?

its scarabs take on the wake booster. It directs water into the wave and also directs the jet out of the surfside wave.

Yes, what Wicked 92 said. Those are specifically for wake surfing . You only attach one at a time to the side you want to surf I was told , I have them on my new boat as well.

Can you leave them on for regular cruising, or do the create unnecessary drag? I have only had one chance to test run the boat and did not get back there to see their effect.

I just bought my boat in January , the salesman said they only go on to surf. I believe they do create additional drag , also more of a wake in the back with them on.

they will create drag, only use when surfing.

Took the boat out again yesterday to finish up my break in period. Everything appears to be running great. 61mph on smooth water.

Only thing I noticed is that Map Screen went blank. It was working. In the dock overnight and battery switch off so I am hoping it works today. Anyone know where the SD card is in case I need to pull out and put it back in? Any experience with this?

I just started my break I’m last week. 44mph top speed at the beginning of the day , 56mph after 4 hrs. 59 mph the next day after a few more hours. I’ve read and been told anywhere from 3-10 hrs to break in.
