Boca Raton Florida, sandbar known as Lake Boca.
Yeah I love boating down here, so many cool boats and set ups. Some of the houses on the intercoastal are absolutely insane, floating third story see-through pools and such. The sand bar gets super clear when the tide is right, the kids love snorkeling. Just off the coast we have mooring buoys up and down that sit over the top of various reefs and ship wrecks that you can attach to. And we’re still in range for the keys. That said, the one downside is fewer spots for water sports. The intercoastal really doesn’t open up with big enough bays until you go north an hour or so and even then the boat traffic can make it dicey, the ocean is usually too rough for any watersports, etc. all of our good freshwater spots are really more central Florida, I love crooked Lake, but it’s a 2&1/2 hour drive. Anyone live in an area they have the best of both worlds?
DO you prefer Morse over Geist? I am always sucking up a ton of weeds on Geist, especially now that the water is lower. Prefer Monroe but don't always want to make the drive down, live just south of Zionsville.
That cooler is screaming for a piece of custom seadek on top. Looks great.
That’s a great idea, some guest are hesitant to walk over it when it’s meant for that. It would also look a lot better. I’m going to measure and order one as soon as I get home!

Yes 100%. Morse has a much bigger parking lot, and the docks are night and day better than Geist. Plus the water is a bit cleaner, IMO. Last time I was on Geist the water had a stinch to it. Definitely prefer Monroe or Raccoon over both of them. But like you said sometimes the drive is not convenient down to Bloomington
