Can we start a list of what we need and parts # for winterizing? If there is one already for our motors, please disregard this post.

- Oil: 10w-30 or 10w-40 depending on where we live? I see most people like to use Mobile one. (Costco is having 6x 1qt for $26)
- Oil Filter: ???
- Fuel Treatment: Sta-bil Marine Fuel Stabilizer
- Spark plugs: ???
- Fogging oil: Any should work

Please add to the list....

Dallas are boaters: Do you use 10w-30 or 10w-40?

Your climate is relatively warm in Frisco. Mine is basically the same. I will park my boat inside my garage with a battery tender connected for the winter. I will blow the water out of the jets the last time I pull it up the ramp. The fuel in the tank is ethanol free but I will add a can of seafoam for good measure. Once a month I will pull the lanyard so the engines will not start and crank them to circulate oil.

Then in the spring I will change the oil, filters and spark plugs. I use Mobil 1 10W30 High Milage as that is the only way I can find Mobil 1 in 10W30.
