Hi everyone,

Embarking on a project to add an Lowrance Elite Ti 7. Started working on it yesterday. I removed the phone holder and drilled a hole for the power and transducer wire right into the dash. Will post more when I'm done but just wanted to share.

Very interested in seeing how you do the rest. I have the same boat and want to put in that same unit.

I will definitely post updates. Busy week at work, it may not be until the weekend until I do more.

@Rob2336 Sorry for the delay on this. I completed the install. Ended up ordering the blue see clam for the wire. Drilling a hole in a brand new boat was a little nerve wrecking. I ran the transducer cable on the starboard side to the instrument cluster. Tapped in to the "cigarette" lighter for power. Been on the water 2 times with it so far and I'm able to get a clear sonar signal up to 25mph. The transducer may need to be lowered a bit to get a clear picture at higher speed but then again I don't want to create a rooster tail with it and have too much drag on it.

@Rob2336, have you completed your install yet?

I havent even bought one yet. I was waiting for your review. I'm boat mod illiterate. I'm super nervous about putting any holes in my boat.

Where did you install the clam? I've found the parts you speak of.

The white ring to the left is the clam. The white ring to the right is the drain.

Well dang... That's crazy j can see them. Let me try to upload again. IMG_20190323_104627043.jpgIMG_20190323_104630231.jpgIMG_20190323_104632769.jpgIMG_20190323_104640971.jpgIMG_20190323_112933567.jpgIMG_20190323_114742886.jpg

Alright, I've finally done it myself. I used alot of the things you did, but tweaked it some. I haven't mounted the transducer yet because the pad said to wait 18 hrs, so I'll mount it after work tomorrow.

I put an amp in for the factory speakers as well. Also a second battery and switch for 2 Batts as well. When I finish it up I'll post more photos.
