@KCAR250 Our boats are super weight sensitive. Unless they mitigate it with a better hull design, which then I would think that would flow down to the 21' footers within a couple years, I see much larger difference.

Maybe, time will tell i suppose, I just know the 240 wasn’t that much slower then the 212. I’m sure you’re right, adding 400lbs more might knock off a couple more and loose alittle hole shot too but it should still do in the upper 40s. I think they might have updated the pump itself too however I can’t find information to confirm that...just rumors for now.

You are going to get more speed and hole shot out of the 212s, look at the weight difference. Almost 500lbs, more in contact with the water probably and same engines, plus don't forget the weight of another 20 gallons of gas on the larger tank. So for the sake of argument lets go with 660 lbs, so 3-5 peoples worth of weight. Those who want additional speed, etc. The 212s price justifies for them. So load up the 212s with another 5 people and compare.

So basically for 4k more you get a bigger, slightly slower boat with longer range, a 4" taller freeboard, less finish inside, a true head compartment with less performance, but a new style. And a stupid floating dash panel (sorry, it annoys me on the SX and AR 250's) Pick your poison I guess.

None the less the AR250 ticks more boxes on how we are going to use the boat. In the end that is all that matters is your specific use case for your craft.
Perfectly said!

#1. Does Anyone know : The hull of the new 25th is 4 inch taller but is the hull is more "deep-V" type to cut the waves ?
I have a 2010 AR240, i last year i tried a 242 and is seems that it ride better.

#2. Weight difference … it seems to be a lot just for 6inch extra ? +/-
2021 AR250 (4 034 lb)
2020 AR240 (3 660 lb)

I’ll be honest. Just got my 19’ took it out This weekend for the first time with 4 people in the boat. After a few bumps and moving around people I was questioning myself on not getting the 21’. At that moment tho when I put a deposit down I was like man is it worth the extra 17-18k for 2 feet? Then the answer was no. I think it will take some getting used to. I love my boat. If we upgrade in a few years so we might lose a few bucks. For a first boat I Think we made the right call. I decided I didn’t want the boat to take up the entire garage and found storage. No limit on space here

Really like the Blue and Gray, very nautical... :winkingthumbsup"

I tried to negotiate with my dealer on a 255XE, told me 93,000 + tax (7%), $99500 OTD! Wouldn't budge on MSRP, said they were not allowed until delivered, wouldn't budge on $2800 dealer prep or the mooring cover cost. Told him I would be waiting till January boat show specials and would need to shop around at dealers that are working on the price.

Has anyone taken possession of any length of a 2021 FSH boat?

Wow!..... Crazy times, that’s for sure!... I’m doing the same, waiting for the shows and hoping to get better deals. Might be taking a chance and their won’t be anything available... but I’m hoping this craziness will subside.

Good for you!!! I’m with you! I mean you’re trying to sell a $93k boat above MSRP and on top of that they won’t throw in a cover??? I’ll stay away from that dealer!

What dealer? I’m in Northeast Ohio and I have a deposit on an AR250
Spend a day at Indian Lake.

Got my current boat new at River Valley in Minnesota, plan to give them a call.

With all this waiting
Heading to the dealer today to pick up my white FSH 210 ?
good luck and congrats. Post some pics.

After looking at the fsh boats this past month while waiting, I decided to cancel my 195s pre-release today and I just pre-ordered the 252 FSH Sport for next season. I was set on a bowrider earlier this year and didn’t even look at the center consoles. But I think Yamaha has done such a fantastic job on the fsh line, especially the 252. i’m not even a fisherman.

The 252 FSH looks awesome. Definitely looking forward to getting into one and looking around as well as some solid member reviews.
