25 Footers Are Leaving The Factory!

I was curious for those that have a 25ft yami, what are you seeing for speeds? Boat test didn’t a review of t he 252 and they said top speed was only 43MPH. I know a larger boat would be slower but I didn’t think it would be by 9 MPH!

Noticed that there is no screw in plug in the ski locker? Its just open tube? Is this normal? Only screw in plug is in the engine bay? My old 2013, I had screw in plugs in the ski locker also??

I thought you were going to like it. Its hands down one of the best features of my boat

I’ve been complaining how ugly the brown interior is but looking at this picture and seeing it in person it actually looks really sharp.

I felt the same way about the ’warm’ interior photos on the Yamaha website - was concerned about the colors. But the wife really wanted the blue hull so....

When I saw it in person, really liked it. No concerns now.

I have noticed i have to back trailer further back into water for loading, anyone else? I cracked the boat a good 5/6 feet.

One thing I find odd is the use of the two plastic snaps on the SE/SD...were the old extended biminis also plastic buckles? Seems as if these will fail, i ratchet my top down pretty tight.

I think the Suede or brown (warm) interior is the best looking of them all when viewed in person. It has a Teak wood grain look to it and it looks great. I absolutely love it on our new 212s!

Drain plug seems standard. Mine as well only has two in the engine bay. The Bimini has been a non issue with the buckles. No need to ratchet to extreme pressure just enough. I remove mine when hauling, but I heard safe under 60mph.

I’ve had no trouble trailering with Bimini in boot strapped to tower going 75mph numerous times.

Gotcha. I’d think you’d be okay. Two of the $140k+ high-end wakesurf boats I was on this Summer had those plastic clips to hold their Biminis and at least one of them had an extended Bimini. Let us know what how it works out or what you end up doing. Good luck!!

So I ordered my boat on August 12...first had a ship date of 9/11, then 9/18, then 9/25, then I was rolled all the way back to 11/6. Good to see some boats being delivered but I am wondering if there are others with a similar experience?

How are you even getting ship dates? Yamaha isn’t telling dealers when they’re shipping, they don’t even notify the dealer the boat is coming until about a week before it shows up when it’s invoiced and loaded for transport from Yamaha. I think your dealer is feeding you some made up dates.

My comment from my sales guy is that they receive an invoice from Yamaha when the boat actually ships. However, they can look in the system and see an estimated ship date. One of the post earlier from a Jacksonville dealer indicated that estimated ship dates had been rolled back. My guess is a lot of dealers are understandably reluctant to share estimated ship dates because it is so uncertain.
