whos coming out this saturdayyyy its calling for 75 degree weather! @DBamaC ? @skbishop90 ? I still got few things I need to do on the boat but always willing to go out for a ride
I've boated on Martin, Smith, Guntersville, Lay, Mitchell and grew up on the Tennessee River (Wilson and Wheeler). Planning to try out Jordan in the spring and I need to get to Lake Tuscaloosa and take my sister out on the water. I'm going to watch the board in 2016 and try to get down to Panama City if there is a meeting and I can make it work with my schedule.
There is an Alabama board here, but it doesn't get used much. Maybe facebook would work better.
Since getting the boat last year we have only made it to Lake Tuscaloosa and the Black Warrior River. We want to get over to Lay and Martin, but it's so hard when we have water 10 minutes away. We need to set a couple dates next summer to make sure I get out of Tuscaloosa. Haha.
We're also looking really hard at taking the boat down to the gulf for Hangoutfest in May.
Hey @SGMPhil Welcome Aboard! I would be interested in meeting up sometime. We talked about having an Alabama get together last year, but never made it happen. I'll keep this thread updated if we head down toward Martin.
If anyone goes to Martin, give us a heads up on this thread. Id love to meet up. I havent been to Martin in years. Better to meet up with people that know the lake and drive yamahas. 2 birds, one stone.
