My Anchor locker hatch lock on 252se is driving me crazy.
Even on light chop it opens up on its own.
Looks like it closes pretty well and catches the metal tab pretty well so should hold, but some how opens.
Anything I am missing or I have a bad lock?

Had same problem when my boat was new. I just adjusted it and it never gave me problem never came back

Yeah I was prepared to re-drill a hole on the L-shaped part that mounts inside the locker with two screws, but it actually had a lot of slide-over once the screws were loose. Fixed my issue, also was prepared to bend it inward a bit but didn’t need to. No way to alter the part in the lid itself that I could see.

Same symptoms as I had. I added some stainless washers behind the L-shaped metal catch since everything seemed to line up, and that solved the problem. I think it only took 1-2 washers, and it's held perfectly ever since
