I use a pro mariner charger hooked to shore power while wet slipping. When Im going out, or not charging, any reason to disconnect the battery connections?

No.

While I’m not totally familiar with that brand I’m going to assume it is a smart charger like my MinnKota. What does the manual say?

Not on me but for others its a promariner prosportHD12 dual bank

I have the same one. No need to disconnect from the batteries. Just unplug from shore power and go.

Yup, leave it hooked up (what its designed for), have the same one on my boat.
