How sharp are the edges? Only asking because bull reds can and will run under the rear and at will. Can the edges be polished smooth or rounded off?

Edges aren't that sharp, but you want to keep your line away. You could get tangled in the fangs or fins. If you can keep your line out of the keel you should be good.

5/17/17 Another Viper review update to my previous post.

Jeff is the top end being affected in more mph or less. And yes people in the bow make it plow. Does the VIPER help this?

I have not really seen a change in speed one way or the other since installing the Viper.. still lose 3-4 mph when people sitting in the bow
