For us jet jockeys is either back pain or knee pain, I may be turning in to masochist cause me liky!! ;-)@robert843 , if you end up coming Friday, we can also do Thursday and Friday in Bimini and take off to chub chub cay early Saturday.... for me also depends on weather, I don't wanna expend $$$$$ , and then end up with a bunch of rain and a back pain from getting mudder by the waves...
Fully understand, perhaps next time?@JROD would love to join ya for that trip but hard for us to get away at the end of month due to the madness of the mortgage world around that time.
Robert, OK. Same here, I am trying to swing the Chub Cay trip as well. We can adjust schedule as required? It is a good day of riding Aprox 160 miles from Southport, NC to Ocracoke.@JROD I have to check on the dates but I know I probably couldn't leave till the afternoon of the 28th and would have to come back early on the 30th. I could only stay Friday and Saturday night. I do have to make sure I can pull that off as I'm still trying to work on Going to Chub Cay that following weekend.
@JROD I'm sure something will work out eventually. @robert843 schedule is looking a lot like ours being able to. If Charleston trip is still being thought about, we may jus have to wait for it. Our weekends are easy for planning, it's just hard to go anywhere that we'd have to take a week day off
Having spent a big portion of my life under my favorite Uncle Sam rules with very limited days off, I hear U. Just read an article that not taking time off or vacations can kill U and very hazardous to Ur health, now they tell me! ;-) So I am game for any trips, just like my old unit's motto, "Anything, any time, any where!" ;-) SEE YA ON THE WATER!@JROD I'm sure something will work out eventually. @robert843 schedule is looking a lot like ours being able to. @JROD Just realized I have a corporate event in Charlotte NC on the 29th I can't make those dates.Hey guys, how about NC Outer Banks trip 27-31 AUG? I am flexible on schedule to suit you guys that have to trailer or ride the farthest. Would like us to meet either in Southport, or Oak Island, NC, the day before we start up ICW. Pls let me know I can assist with best places to park Ur rig, local ramps etc.
OK, try to have fun. ;-)@JROD Just realized I have a corporate event in Charlotte NC on the 29th I can't make those dates.
Heck yeah! Exumas trip been on my radar for a while, but for jet ski jockeys must have some type of support boat, ability to carry extra fuel etc. Count me in!!!I know there was some previous post in this thread about going further down to the Exuma islands. Is anyone seriously interested in doing this in 2016? The Bimini 2015 trip was great, but the thought of being able to go further is extremely intriguing. Just curious to see if such a trip would be a real potential with the group. Couldn't imagine doing it without the expertise from all involved here.

I would be up for discussing a trip to The Exumas !
You know you are going to become the fuel boat!
it can be discussed...
I wouldn't be up for carrying alot, but i may help out.
You know the old saying...cash, gas or ass nobody/nothing rides for free
All the jet ski jockeys would need some type of heavy duty rack that can hold the weight of at least two 6 gls fuel cans. I have carried 2 cans, cooler, & backpack on my rack 1st time I did jet ski trip from NC to Miami and definitely needed them a few times. So it is doable indeed! The reality is that the skis can not carry enough fuel to get there on their own.
Of course, this statement may compel them to prove me wrong.
