forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere. I did a search and couldn't find anything. Im wondering if there is a way to install a drain plug LED (boatpluglight.com) on a 2018 AR210. Ive read about switching to a 1/2" brass garboard drain, however, I don't think that's possible on this boat since the factory drain is built into the keel. Thanks

I'm in the same boat. From what I've found, there is a company in Texas called Diablo Royale that makes an adapter for our plastic plug. Then their drain plug light can be plugged in. I've been trying to see if anyone has done it with our model yet. I was going to email them and ask them what the over all length of the adapter and plug are. We have the added keel on our boats which limits the lights length. The keel is notched behind the drain plug, so there is some room. I just haven't done the measurements yet as this is one of my winter projects. Good luck. Post up what you find.

I ordered their Vega light and there is no way their drain plug light would fit behind the keel with an adaptor. I sent it back and got their Dagon V2 transom light instead.

Are you happy with it? I was just looking at that same light. Hard to beat the price for the lumens that light puts out.

No complaints yet. It’s definitely bright. We boat in murky water and the light is still visible. Even during the day when we anchor to swim, you can see the light. I placed it in the lower half of the square sticker on the transom. It does run hot and needs to be submerged to not burn it out.

That's about where I was thinking of placing it. Good to know. Thank you.

Any pictures of your install?

Following. Getting a 2019 AR210 this winter, wanted to put in a plug light.

Only choice is transom mount light at this point it seems. Just not enough clearance between the keel and drain to fit a light.

So here’s the transom light I went with. The 5200 didn’t fully cure before I took it out and the caulk ran out from the sides. Woulda come out much cleaner had I waited longer for the 5200 to dry.

How hard is it to access that area from inside the boat to do the wiring?

Easy and straightforward. The wire will come through in the clean out hatch. From there, it’s an easy shot to the engine bay and battery housing.

How long is the wiring that comes with that light? I've looked so over their website and it doesn't say how long. Thanks.

Um did that light replace the scupper?
No. You have to drill the hull. The scupper in the newer models is higher up on the side. You can just barely see the white cap under right side of the ladder in that pic.
