Finally, return to boating

No questions (yet), just an intro. 14 years after an unfortunate incident with our first boat experience ('99 Yamaha Exciter 270), my wife and I decided to return to boat life and are now the new owners of a 2017 242 Limited E-Series. I remember learning a ton from posts on a prior forum, so I'm glad to have found this site and grateful for all the tips, information, and willingness of others to help with questions.

Thank you! Currently we are slipping off of Lake St Clair. Tow vehicle planned for next year and would like to explore various lakes "up north".
