Fishing in Bimini

I'm going to be scheduling my fishing trips around the OUTGOING TIDE... That's when it's best to troll the steep drop off.

I'm in...unless I already caught MORE than enough :)

Dang...you seem SERIOUS about your fishing..I'm below a novice

Rum is $12 a bottle. There is no need for beer!

I see its a 2001..but no model or length. I can't attach images (only by URL it appears

It is way bigger than our boats. 30 feet plus.

BRING BEER it is the best thing to tip with, the locals prefer beer over alcohol. Beer to them is a treat since in Bimini a case of beer is about $50. I typically bring a couple of extra 12 packs of Bud light to tip with.

Where do you tip at? I tipped at the fuel docks, the one resteraunt meal we had and the room cleaners.

Fuel dock, dock master, and whomever else might deserve a tip, for the folks diving maybe the diver master. For a meal or a general purchase I give a normal monetary tip.

What about vodka, tequila? Is it cheap and available or just rum?

My new Penn rod and reels! I have another spinning rod on the way.
