Gasparilla Tampa Bay Pirate Invasion

Well for me things worked out that I could go but none of my crew could go so I didn't feel like towing 12 hours each way by myself so I have to bow out. I truely am dissapointed as this is the third year I have tried to go. It will happen one of these years.

That sucks maybe next year. I hope we can get a group together but it looks like they are all fizzing out on us.

Is anyone considering going this year ??
Still want to try and go...

I've done it last 2 years. I think I'm going to pass this year. It's not much fun for the driver of the boat, it's constant awareness and pushing off other boats.
If you decide to go, let me know and I'll tell you where to get the supplies.. you will need beads, and lots of them..

I hope to get this in for next year.

Looks like I'll see you next week @tim h !! Hope you don't mind us bringing some stragglers!

360 Mardi Gras bead necklaces
2 Water Balloon Launchers
800 bio-degradable water balloons
3 - 3x5 pirate flags
1 - 3x5 old glory
2 pirate costumes

It's coming together nicely...

IMG_0730.JPG IMG_0721.JPG IMG_0706.JPG Anyone else out there yesterday? Spotted a 15+ ar240 (green), ar230, and an ar192. And a 242 e-series on a lift in the channel. What an awesome (yet stressful) event. Kudos to @tim h for being a badass captain and not getting us runned over.

It was so cold yesterday I actually wore a sweatshirt and pants that had extensions that covered my legs, I forget what they call those, Oh Yea LONG PANTS. I had to shovel my walkway to get to my car and chip the ice off the windshield just to go buy firewood to keep the house warm. I don't think it even got out of the 50's now that is cold!!! If it gets any colder I may need to wear shoes and socks. OH that would be intolerable!

It was chilly, but really not bad at all once the beer started flowing. Couple guys didn't really appreciate Tim's water balloons though, lol.
