If I ever decide to get another boat it would be a 28 Ft Nordic Heat Open Bow, I was really close to buying one before I found our 2008 Yamaha SX230 HO. They have such beautiful lines, almost looks like a Corvette sitting in the water. I like Magic Powerboats as well, but love the styling of Nordic's.

In the end the Yamaha Boats are more practical for just about everything, but I love the sound of horsepower and the sexy lines of these go fast boats. Maybe someday!

I am partial to Sunsations myself, but have no time to maintain nor dollars to spend on fuel.

I just looked at their website, nice looking boats. Fuel is a killer on the big boats, easy to burn 100 gallons in a weekend.

Skater 24 or copy. Want one BAAAAD!
My wife and kids have other plans.

Every now and then I watch this old video and hum the Miami Vice tune...

I was in BVI a couple weeks ago and saw this 39' Nor-Tech. 4 400 Mercs!! They said it would run 95! It was parked next to their 90'+ yacht. Lolimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Wow, they have some big bucks to have toys like that!!!
There was a lot of bucks floating around that place!! I guesstimate $160k just in horsepower.

Probably correct, I need to win the lottery LOL.

I always thought that Cigarette, Formula, Scarab, Donzi, Baja where more of a factory line type boat prone to issues (please correct me if I'm wrong). The style of boat is significantly different out here on the west coast with wide open hulls and open bows designed for the inland lakes/rivers. Definitely not off shore. Not sure if it makes a difference, but most of the West Coast go fast boats are custom built and rigged.
