Holder of the Scupper Wrenches

I'd love to borrow the wrench ... my nephew lost the flapper when cleaning the boat; must be a sign ... :)
Do you know the rubber flap can be replaced from the outside without having to replace the complete scupper fitting? (special wrench not needed)

Looks like I found my leak today! How necessary is the wrench? I'm anxious to get this going.

Very..you want to get it tight.

I picked mine up from west marine in solomons.
I don't remember the part number .

Oh really? Based on my research the best part number is 66553-3 (Attwood) and they seem to indicate that has to be ordered with a 2-3 week lead time . It's also ridiculous compared to the other prices I'm seeing online at something like $85.

Yup. That would be about the right price. Really a small price to pay to not have a hole in your boat.

an suggestions as to which stainless steel scupper i should get for my boat? as soon as i get it, i will need the coveted wrench!
