It wont sink...stay in the boat! Id rather be in 2 ft of water than 2500 ft!!!
 
Following Betik across. Stomach sinks when I saw the post about Island Girl swamped in 2 feet of water.

Anyone know what kind of boat "Island Girl" is? It is listed as a 1999 26 footer.
 
Looks like a cell developing East of Bimini. From it's path looks like it should stay north of the islands as it heads West. Fingers crossed.

this is @DiverB we made it back safely to BahiaMar. My little girl was is pure panic and terror when the thunder and lightning started when we hit the 7 mile mark. My wife was being a real trooper and trying to reassure our little one. Then my wife got sick and I could see she was no longer on board with this idea.

I was able to make a radio call back to the @swatski group to inform of my decision to return.

Im looking at flying the family over and check the weather for a possible crossing tomorrow
