I dont think the dates will be available untill at least the end of January. Appantly the hotel is getting renovated, so they are not entirely sure when they might be open.

If you are trying to put in vacation schedule with work, I would not recomand the following.

Betik to manager: "at some point between June 1st and Jul 31st I will be gone for 2 weeks with no access to emails or phone"
Manager to Betik: " Great!"
Betik to manager: " should i be looking for job while in Bimini?"
Manger to Betik: " where is Bimini ?"
Betik to manager: "tiny island in the Bahamas"
Manger to Betik: " you should"

Looks like they are bringing the ferry back

A smaller more reasonable jet powered ferry is running the route now. Too bad they destroyed so many reefs for the previous monstrosity.

when I went to see how much the trip was with them its $198.oo for a round trip which is a pretty good deal for someone who doesn't want to take the open water adventure on the back of a ski

The old ferry service was more than flying ($300+) if you wanted to use it for transportation but only $99 if you wanted to ride to the casino to play for day then return.

Dang It's $129 for a day trip now Taxes are $59 no matter how long you stay

The old $99 day trip was a special price for a trip to play in the casino. If you wanted to go anywhere else it was close to $400.

[USERGROUP=14]@Bimini[/USERGROUP], The new Bimini Sands reservation crew is up and running so I am starting negotiations with them. Currently they have 40 units in the rental pool and plan to have 13+ more before mid April.

Currently we have 27 registrations totaling 80 adults and 33 children.

The breakdown of dates that work for registrants is

A little more good news is that all rental condos should have pictures online by February 1st and WiFi and flatscreen TVs. But who needs a TV in Bimini?

Looks like the 9th Thru the 15th is leading the way that's perfect those are the dates I have the house rented for anyway. With that many boats going is there an issue with not enough gas to go around or everything running out on the island Supply wise?

You should plan to take everything that any member of your crew will need with the exception of fuel, ice, rum, water, sand and sun Anything else will be expensive if available at all. That is the norm in Bimini.
