@MarkEnMiami, did you see the information on making reservations in the first and second posts of this thread? Please reply back with your condo number so we know you are confirmed and can make sure no one is double booked.

@Drift Away, I believe we are around 38 boats and 6 skis. Right at 40 condos booked.

Leaning towards a no toll route. will be splitting up the drive in 2 days so I won't feel too much difference. BUT the turnpike is a smoother/less stressful drive

1hr+ but -$90 in tolls savings round trip

Come down i75 and see the toll difference

Question...if the drive is more than a day or two where do you check in for the night ? Just sleep in the truck on highway rest areas ?

I've been last year on the way to key west. it is nice not having tons of people getting on and off the hwy, esp towing a boat but damn $90!? its insane...

I stay at a hotel...driving takes a toll on your body. you need a good rest!

i think you just park on the far end and no issues... or on the street, you have to make that judgement when you get there. usually hotels have plenty of parking spaces

We make two overnight stops. We do not schedule them but make them depending on our progress. We try for roadside Holiday Inns which are typically around $100 and provide breakfast. Sometimes this works out badly if an area is full and we have to drive further. Others like to book ahead.

Plan ahead to the best you can. Estimate where you might stop and Google (satellite view) the hotels to see if the parking will accommodate a vehicle and trailer. Look for hotels with plenty of parking or at a minimum spots that you pull through. The cheaper hotels typically only have single parking spots and barely enough for vehicles.

I like @Bruce don't book ahead but I do have a number of options depending on how far I travel.

Generally all hotel/motels near an interstate can accommodate a truck and trailer. I would avoid metropolitan areas and shoot for the sticks..... lots of them in Flow Rida!

@Amar Nanduri Not sure exactly where at on Chantilly you are, but you're roughly 7.5-8 hrs from a Best Western Point South @ exit 33 off I-95 in Ridgeland, SC. They have great truck parking, good rates, & Dennys restaurant in lobby. I park a 80 ft car hauler there a lot.

From there, you're 7-7.5 hrs from Harbour Towne Marina. Of course those are estimated times from Google maps, @ roughly the half way point, 500-550 miles both days isn't bad.

Thanks a lot @ACrews . I will plan accordingly.
