Not that I recommend it, but we forgot to make the phone call last year. I believe someone called @DieselCamel a couple weeks later asking if we ever made it back. Yup. Ok. We were all SVRS and had filed a float plan.

You were fortunate. That error could result in a huge fine.

No, you have to call before you leave the marina.

I tried them all but I was at the back of the pack. The average wait for the call center was likely closer to 30 minutes than the couple of hours that @chris24 and I were on hold.

Regardless they said they would staff up if I warned them when we were returning this year.

That stinks it took that long. I had to be calling near the same time as you guys. We were the first to hit the docks but I did not call till an hour after that. I was on hold 3 minutes hung up called another number and got immediately through.

I normally call during the no-wake ride from the inlet to Harbour Towne Marina which takes about 30 minutes.

Bahia Mar just added 10 double double rooms to our block at $119 per night. These are likely the last rooms that we will be able to get at a discount. Their room types are either single king or double double. They say the rate is higher because these rooms were remodeled in 2016.

For anyone watching this thread, and who might be interested, I am in the process of changing my Bimini Sands reservations and am canceling my 3B Unit -- which is a one BR no loft -- by the pool and w/ocean view!
I will let you know when I hear back from Beth, but that unit maybe available again.

In The First Post the registrants are color coded. Blue is going and and crossing with us. Purple is going and crossing separately. Black is registered but no room confirmation.

I believe our total is around 37 boats and 8 skis.

The 37 boats and 5 skis are from confirmed registrations but I understand that a few more skis are planning to join us.

This will be more than twice the size of 2016.
