I've seen several posts mentioning that if the Yamaha Connext touchscreen stops responding, one must resort to using the joystick. I've tried menu navigation using only the joystick a few times, but it seems that it can only scroll among top-level menus without the ability to select to access the various sub menus screen controls (ballast, system info, etc). Plunging the stick had no effect, nor did any of the physical buttons. I couldn't find anything more detailed than just the mere mention of the joystick as possible means for navigating Connext in the user manual, maintenance manual, or online. Is full menu navigation possible using the joystick? Or are we truly up a creek if the touch screen ever stops responding?
