If you have a crowded negative post on your battery, this mod is super simple. I got a Blue Sea 130A bus bar from Amazon. I screwed it directly to the plywood next to my AB switch. Then I moved the wires off the battery and on to the bus. Tightened it all down and done.

The bar does come with a cover that I added after the pic.

This should make the negative connections more secure and make additions to the electrical system much easier.

End of report.

For those who could not see the pic. ..

My house battery neg and positive are getting pretty full. I need to do this for both. I was looking at a bus with fuses that would hold both pos and neg connections.

They do have one of those at Blue Sea. I opted for the separate ones so that I can be a bit more flexible in my configuration... But yes, the dual bus bar with fuses was under serious consideration in the process, so not a bad idea at all.

Great idea @tdonoughue. It would also prevent some missing grounds when you reconnect your battery in the spring.
