Anticipation is always the worst. Like waiting for Christmas, but it will be worth it. I just bought a house on the lake and had my eye on a 195, and I think if I go new I’m going to go for the 195S too.

Was the best option for us. We wanted the tower for sporty look, and function for board sports. The slight upgrades to interior are a great perk. The #1 selling point for us was it's not flashy like the AR versions are. More of a blend in boat then a stand out. Ya know for us forty year old people

Yeah, a lot of that is what’s selling it for me. I’ve been thinking about left over 2019 SX 195. I prefer the dual bucket seats this has and the upgraded options on the 195, and even more on this. I was up in the air on the AR and the tower and won’t be doing a lot of water sports but this might sell me on it for speaker mounts and the occasional use.

I wish, but as far as I know it's speakers only. At least they are an upgrade from the clarion, or marine audio that's in Normal. Plus it adds fusion transom remote. We do fully plan on adding a wetsounds 6 channel amp and Rev10 tower speakers. Amp will run factory and tower speakers. They advertise wetsounds, but it's only a beginning. Not true wetsounds potential ?
Note that the Fusion is actually a head unit (I think it's an MS-RA70N) and the Connext screen is the remote via NMEA2000 data link. If you want to add an amp, you'll need to access the Fusion head at the rear to get RCA low level connections for the amp, then either use the stock speaker wires back there too, or run new ones.
I have the older MS-RA205 in my current boat and it's a great head unit, waterproof, easy to read display, and decent FM signal sensitivity, plus all the regular goodies..
?
The tower is a must have in my opinion, even if you'll never use it for wake sports. Having a rock solid bimini is a big point for us as our current steel fold down bimini shakes like a Chihuahua in the arctic when zipping over the waves.

How’s the tower do with a covered lift? Is it easy to leave up and still get adequate coverage from the cover? I’m not too worried about getting it in my garage.
It shouldn't be too big of an issue really, the trim piece on the radio comes off, remove 4 screws, and you should be able to pull it out of the fiberglass hull and do your connections from the stern, then pop it back in. Installation in my old boat was simple and that's basically what I did except it was on the helm.

It folds down very easily with 2 people in seconds, lifts just as easily and fast. If you have the clearance in your covered lift you may not have to drop the tower.
So our boat has arrived. Still gonna be a week or so before we can take delivery, buuuuutttt dealer sent a couple teaser pics. Sadly I see no bow filler door, or joystick. However, we are still in love.
$44,786 total out the door. Including all registration, freight, taxes, and mooring cover. Dealer is throwing in starter package, full of fuel, and some other stuff he is keeping secret. Manufacturers price was $40,399

Around here in VA we won't get deals until next year's models. That is if they are around. Like 2019 models are great priced right now, but pickings are really really thin. I could've got 2019 Sx195 for $32,000 but that's not what we want

I really like the captains chairs on the 195s and the wet sounds system. I'll had some rev10's, a sub and itll be awesome. They doing any decent financing? What kind of payment is on that?

I still don’t understand why they omitted the seating capacity in the cockpit for a table. We would rarely use that and would always welcome more seating space. At least make it so you have a bench you could remove in place of the table. Sure it opens up the cockpit but it’s mainly just walking space you gain but you lose seating capacity and storage. Not only that but it also makes it harder to center the boat for water sports and would have to use some lead to offset everyone sitting on the port side.
