New 275 27' Yamaha Jetboat

If you go to the miami boat show guide, there is now info on the new boat. They talk about it on pages 36 and 37.

The new series is called 275. There will be a 275E, 275SE, and 275SD. Will offer SVHO engines.

They are introducing a new "Slow-Speed function called DRiVE which is engaged using Connext and then also some paddle controls on the steering wheel for controlling fwd, rev, and thrust.






I don't get that windshield and the way the two styles are mashed together.

Basically a 24' boat layout with all the extra length in the transom?

I don't think so, the other thread didn't have the boat model in the title and that's probably why you didn't see it on the "similar" threads when creating it,

I kinda DIG it. I Wont buy it but, that is an EXCELLENT design at the back... all that room-easy to walk through....I now actually hope that idea carries through to the smaller boats! Like some of the IO's out there.... just looking quickly, I would change two things if I could.

-get rid of the hard top that looks like Moe's haircut from the three stooges.

-lose the sink/drawers... more room/seating is my aim for a bigger boat.

the side/windshield is odd and edgy but not horrible-id get used to it

But mega kudos to yamaha for listening to the market and doing something new and different.
