Yea my boat is usually a to a fro to the beach for the day. I'm just sick of the smelly carpets. Might go with the seadek. The dogs nails have been very forgiving on the vinyl. I soak the seats with 303 AP every week and just let it dry on there and wipe off the white residue. Its a little nasty looking when it dries to an off-white paste stuff, but whatever, I want my seats to last! This is year 4 of sea dek on this boat. I’m told by the crew that the adhesive is coming up in a couple places, but I have yet to find those places.
It cleans up really well with simple green. We generally have a no shoe policy in the boat though. With a dog we are much more concerned with dog nails going through the vinyl seats.
It all depends on the use of the boat. Our boat is used as a shoeless swim shuttle most of the time, so it was worth it. If I were cruising or fishing most of the time, I probably would have skipped the costly upgrade.
Amp is just hanging out in the latest shortcut mounting scheme.
Yea God bless zip ties!So far, so good!
It is hard to imagine a world before zip ties.
Took the opportunity to clean up my amp set up this weekend. Much happier with everything this way and added a little 8 inch kicker tube sub. Fits perfect under the bench seat.

Thanks. Haven't gotten a chance to get it on the water yet. But in the driveway it sounds good. Not Earth shattering bass but rounds out the lows I was missing with just the Infiniti speakers.
Made a boo boo and accidentally ordered the 2 ohm version, so it's not bridged. It's getting 100 watts, which is no where enough for it. But it sounds respectable.
I was wondering this but didn't want to break any water proof seal kicker put on there. I might do that and bridge the amp to get 200 wattsAlso, if you want to change the ohm then you can open the enclosure and change the wiring. The speaker is dual voice coil so you can easily change to 2 or 4 ohm wiring

Got to go out today. First outing of 2021. It was a little chilly. But love the new sub and amp tune I did. Very loud and clear. Just love the fusion head unit and that amp combo. Could hear my music at WOT while sitting on the bolster. View attachment 144882
