Thanks! On mine inside the right red circle there are two threaded bolts about a cm away from each other.

Weird..... You have seadek. Do you like it? I kinda like the removable mats, but they are grungy and stinky. Plus I like the look of the seadek. Just worry it's impossible to keep clean or getting scratches. Have two 75 plus dogs that ride with us

This is year 4 of sea dek on this boat. I’m told by the crew that the adhesive is coming up in a couple places, but I have yet to find those places.

It cleans up really well with simple green. We generally have a no shoe policy in the boat though. With a dog we are much more concerned with dog nails going through the vinyl seats.

It all depends on the use of the boat. Our boat is used as a shoeless swim shuttle most of the time, so it was worth it. If I were cruising or fishing most of the time, I probably would have skipped the costly upgrade.

Amp is just hanging out in the latest shortcut mounting scheme.

Yea my boat is usually a to a fro to the beach for the day. I'm just sick of the smelly carpets. Might go with the seadek. The dogs nails have been very forgiving on the vinyl. I soak the seats with 303 AP every week and just let it dry on there and wipe off the white residue. Its a little nasty looking when it dries to an off-white paste stuff, but whatever, I want my seats to last!

I like the amp hanging from those ziptie holders there. That's a perfect shortcut. Most of the mods in my house and boat are "shortcuts" that have been a shortcut for like 10 years

So far, so good!

It is hard to imagine a world before zip ties.

Took the opportunity to clean up my amp set up this weekend. Much happier with everything this way and added a little 8 inch kicker tube sub. Fits perfect under the bench seat.

cool! how do you like the set up? I have the same sub and amp on my AR192 and it kicks. Be careful! I burnt my kicker sub by putting too much power to it. Luckily the replacement speaker was only like $80 and I kept the enclosure. I can report that inside that enclosure its a good design that is 100% waterproof.

Thanks. Haven't gotten a chance to get it on the water yet. But in the driveway it sounds good. Not Earth shattering bass but rounds out the lows I was missing with just the Infiniti speakers.

Made a boo boo and accidentally ordered the 2 ohm version, so it's not bridged. It's getting 100 watts, which is no where enough for it. But it sounds respectable.

I put wakeboard tower speakers that sound good with the sub. With that amp my sound system is economical and loud. Lots of compliments. But I can't remember what brand speakers that I have.. $450 range

Also, if you want to change the ohm then you can open the enclosure and change the wiring. The speaker is dual voice coil so you can easily change to 2 or 4 ohm wiring

I was wondering this but didn't want to break any water proof seal kicker put on there. I might do that and bridge the amp to get 200 watts

Got to go out today. First outing of 2021. It was a little chilly. But love the new sub and amp tune I did. Very loud and clear. Just love the fusion head unit and that amp combo. Could hear my music at WOT while sitting on the bolster. 27F62440-C297-458F-915B-DE550EB195FB.jpeg

I don't think the seal would be impacted because it is a large rubber gasket. On the speaker are these rubber grommets that can be removed and there are bolts underneath. Unbolt them and underneath the speaker is the large rubber gasket. I dont remember which side is the passive sub and which is active. The original connections are soldered on. The replacement speaker I bought took electrical spade connectors.
