I just got a 2023 255 ID. I have the standard analog layout and really want to add something. That’s both economical but reliable for navigation and better depth. Any suggestions?

Another question I have is running the lights while anchored at night. Does anyone know if this will cause the batteries to drain if we watch the fireworks for about an hour with engines off?

thank you in advance

That’s an awesome boat!

Quite a few folks here have gone the Garmin route.

Floating for a hour should not deplete your batteries with the lights on as long as they are in good shape and fully charged. Do you have an onboard battery charger you keep plugged in or another charger you use on your batteries between outings? Perhaps run a test in the drive way ahead of time. It’s also a good idea to have a jump pack on board.
