Currently waiting out a storm, but I've got a slip rental for tonight, and the marina I'm at only sells 87 octane apparently! I still have almost a full tank of gas, but if I need gas, I'm not sure what to do as my 2020 195s requires 91 at least.

Should have planned better I guess, but with all the wake boats and such wet-slipped, I just assumed they'd have premium at the marina. There's a few other marinas nearby I'm going to call to see if they sell 91 octane.

Thats your best bet. I hope a marina near by has 91!

Fill up if you need to. It's not going to break your boat, but constant and continual use of it will cause issues that you don't want.

If you don't need to fuel up, chalk it up to good fortune and move on. If you're extra worried about it at other places you go to, carry 1-2 fuel containers with your preferred octane in them for the future.

Marina might sell octane booster. If not fill up before you burn all your 91 so you’ve got a blend higher than 87 in the tank.
It’s only going to really ping under high loads so just take it a little easy.

Run by just about any auto parts store to buy the octane booster. (O'Riley, Auto Zone, etc)

If all else fails, do a short haul on the trailer to a gas station. I do this when I need to fill up and dont want to pay marina prices. A gas station is close to our ramp and takes a half hour, but maybe not so on the weekend.

IM pretty sure these SC engines have computer controlled timing. If it senses pre detonation it will turn it back. Use the boat and just dont hammer on it you will be fine. If your not asking for heavy boost it wont be a problem, under boost is where octane becomes significant. I wouldn't mess with octane boosters as you'll never know what you have in the tank.

Lost cell service for a bit. I still have 62% fuel after pulling the nephews on the tube and doing some fishing this afternoon, so no big worry. While waiting out the rain, I called the marina directly across the lake from the one I'm at and they sell 92 octane there. Same family owns another marina just down the lake, so most likely that marina has premium as well. Thanks for all the tips, especially the one about filling up with 87 before you get to low on premium.
