One picture of your last outing.

Had to go with two pics again.
The second being a reminder to maintain anglers insurance to cover the cost of additional/extensive personal items likes vests, wakeboards, fish finders, etc. 086DA308-A48F-437B-A60F-E602E066E949.jpeg

When there is women like that on the front, you really should kick up the photo resolution for us! I know you told your wife you were just shooting for the beautiful boat with the Trump flag. Well played.

handheld? Mounted? Gimbal?

I have had great luck using the Hypersmooth image stabilization. But I also use a Removu Gimbal as well. It's amazing seeing how much the boat moves when the gimbal stays level.

It's fun shooting surf video and letting others grab the cam as well. As I have it set so that the gimbal will slow down pans as well. Most folks toss the cam around on a stick like they are freakin' Harry Potter whipping up a spell. So the gimbal slows down their movements. The video turned out good too, but I only did a Quik edit, and of course, it missed all the good airs and spins.

Enjoy!

good stuff! I have a Hero 5 black, waiting for Hero 8 to drop to see whats up. I've become lazy myself and only do quick edits on the phone app!

3 hour boat detail and a 2 hour truck cleaning and this setup is looking perfect inside and out for a week of fun in Lake Gaston. Will be a fun week of tubing, wakeboarding, skiing, kneeboarding, maxin and relaxin, cornhole throwing, drinking, and some great food prepared by the wife’s. Always look forward to the lake but look forward to having it back on the lift at home to have some fun in the salt water again when we get back. Even re-waterproofed the mooring cover and cleaned the bimini underside and re-waterproofed that as well. A lot of work to go get it dirty all week but it will be one of the (if not the most) cleanest boat on the lake lol. Used hull cleaner on the underside to remove the light yellowing from this summer. I’ll probably have to do it again when we get back as the lake tends to turn it more yellow than at home as it does not sit in water at home, just some fun water sports then back in the lift. Hope everyone has as much fun in their boats as we will over the next week. Cheers!

What do you use to waterproof the mooring cover?

This stuff is awesome! Got it from West Marine but you can get it online if there’s not one close to you. One bottle did the mooring Cover and Bimini. Laid mooring cover out in grass and sprayed it good with a light coating all the way across (it says not to overspray it and make puddles of spray). Light coating then another 30 min later then the Bimini and they are good to go. Not as good as new but pretty close for a few years old. Heard it works great on outdoor furniture cushions also. Haven’t tried that yet though.

Hitting the lake for a week is a great time. Every year we go down to Kerr Lake and camp for the entire week. Great times and memories. I see you are in Va Beach also. Where do you usually go out at?

Absolutely it’s awesome. We do water sports all over in VB. Is there a spot you normally go?

Usually go out at Munden Point or Old Pungo Ferry. I currently have a pair of Sea Doos but looking to purchase my buddy's SX210 at the end of the season. Can't wait to get another boat!

I need more power when the ocean is flat!
