As the lake starts to recede, we are finding more beaches to explore. This place, we were greeted by the local inhabitants. Lol ?

Dude! I got leeches on me yesterday! I didn't think it was real but yeah, we got leeches at Lanier. Good thing I had salt for my margaritas on hand!
 
Wow! The fish were nipping at me but that’s really gross. I saw an article earlier this summer about leeches in Lanier. I hadn’t witnessed any. With the rising temps, I was worried about algae blooms and sepsis. I guess leeches are the least to worry about.
