One picture of your last outing.

Probably last one IN the water. Doubt it'll be our last day ON the water. Did some floatin and fishin, tubing and surfing. Found the absolute perfect setup. Need to save it next time ( 107% surf side rear ballast full, center locker 56%, non surf side 20%).

Starting to cool a bit in TX, but still going strong if you don’t mind the water chill.

Got to go out today. A photo from my afternoon on the lake:

(intentionally omitted out of respect for those up north who are putting away/preparing to put away their boats)

Keep those photos coming - it will make the winter a little easier!!

Today was a two boat day! The attached pic is from the Chesapeake Bay heading south, just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge taken this afternoon from my Formula 41 PC. A beautiful, calm day. I spent the morning on my Yamaha. A two boat day is great fun but I had to wash down two boats too... First world problems. 904CAD4C-8368-402D-A2E3-239617E0D625.jpeg

Getting chilly out there. Have to find ways to stay warm.
Probably the only time of year you can get out on Jordanelle without a crowd...

It has been great. I have avoided Jordanelle all year. I took my Mom out for Mother's day and it was already very crowded. Now, the lake is great. Most people have put the boats up for the year, but I will continue going to Jordanelle to take advantage of how quiet it has gotten as long as I can convince people to join me. We started going to Jordanelle about 6 weeks ago when Rockport and Echo both dropped to about 30% capacity.

The one time we tried Jordanelle on a weekend during the summer it was so busy couldn't drive in a staight line... it was nerve racking. We've has some pretty warm weather for the this time of year. Enjoy it while you can.

I wished I would have been able to take my boat out but I decided I should help my mother get hers out once more this year. The air temp was a good 10-15° cooler over the water. 78° felt like 65°, air is still smokey from the entire west being on fire, otherwise conditions were perfect on Utah Lake.
