Getting chilly out there. Have to find ways to stay warm.
Probably the only time of year you can get out on Jordanelle without a crowd...
The one time we tried Jordanelle on a weekend during the summer it was so busy couldn't drive in a staight line... it was nerve racking. We've has some pretty warm weather for the this time of year. Enjoy it while you can.It has been great. I have avoided Jordanelle all year. I took my Mom out for Mother's day and it was already very crowded. Now, the lake is great. Most people have put the boats up for the year, but I will continue going to Jordanelle to take advantage of how quiet it has gotten as long as I can convince people to join me. We started going to Jordanelle about 6 weeks ago when Rockport and Echo both dropped to about 30% capacity.
