One picture of your last outing.

Finally made it to Lake Don Pedro.
Hopefully I will not jinx myself, but I am happy to report I have been on the lake 5 full days, including 5 daysin a slip, and not one drop out of the drain plug afterwards. I am water tight.
Disclaimer: The check valve installation in the cleanout platform drain hose did not solve the cleanout ports filling with water. They were full to the brim. I’ll be replacing the lip seals.

We have always thought about going to Torch Lake. 9 hr drive from Taswell, IN. Is it worth it?
Thanks
Darren Kernsy
Taswell, IN
The answer is yes, drove there last year from Indy

Okay. We will definitely look into this. We would like to rent a house too.
Thank you so much for the help & advice.
Darren
We launch south of Torch at the DNR ramp on the Torch River. Large parking lot. Single ramp. Busy in July and August. Three trailers both times this week, was pretty calm. We stay at the Tamarack Lodge in TC (owners), about a 25m drive to said launch.

Can you give us any recommendations where to put the boat in the South? My wife & I would have to do some research on where to stay. We just don’t know much about Torch Lake.
Thanks
Darren Kerns
We launched on Elk lake last year, it’s about a 20 min ride to the sand bar up the river but it’s a lot less busy at that launch and it’s a pretty drive. There are tree stumps at the mouth of the river so stay between the markers. Elk lake is another big beautiful lake that’s worth exploring.

Sunday brunch at Persimmons on the waterfront. Then floating for a bit on the river. Water temp perfect at 86 degrees, air temp 88 degrees

Made it out Friday evening and conditions were beautiful! Only our 3rd time out on the new Supreme S220. First time out the we discovered the side wake plates weren't working. Got that resolved. 2nd outing, the kids had fun swimming, verified the fixes, but got blown off the water as soon as I wanted to surf. So 3rd time's a charm, and I got my first real surf session in behind the new boat on my new Phase 5 Zilla. Better than I expected in just 7ft of water.

Looks great! Is that Utah lake? Which marina are you launching out of? Saratoga’s getting mighty low. Enjoy the new boat!
