One picture of your last outing.

Best Father’s Day weekend ever. Saturday boating with my family. Sunday Waverunning with my Son. On Sunday we planned to take the Waverunners up river about 50 miles to lunch on the water in old Sacramento.

We Found the Locke about half way there closed for the first time I can remember in over 15 years. My Boy would not be denied so he charted a new and different route for us to get to the other side of the Locke. We didn’t make it all the way to old Sacramento but didn’t care, as it was still a great day together.

Burned about $250 in fuel to eat a $25 meal. Worth every penny. I would do it again at the drop of a hat.

Lake of the Ozarks 2023 is in full swing. Arrived Thursday morning. Boated approximately 45 miles on the main and Gravois arm yesterday, and I believe I got around 2-2.5mpg. Was rougher than normal for a Friday afternoon, but the AR230 managed fine with only one time I had to slow to take a cabin cruiser’s plowing wake. Average speed on the main was 28-29mph with 6 adults and 2 kids on board. Staying up the Gravois arm for the weekend though, since the big boats get out. The in-laws are staying just around the corner from us with their 26ft tritoon, the Yamaha is still the boat everyone sits on ?

Hit up Lake Michigan yesterday. We went MILES off shore and absolutely loved being out so far. It was soooooo relaxing just floating out in the wide open.

Where did you put in and go on Lake Michigan?

Went to Summerfest to see James Taylor w Sheryl Crow, it was a beautiful summer day in Milwaukee and the cool lake breeze sure felt nice.

This morning our oldest caught her first fish all on her own, ofcourse I had to take it off the hook ? Then we boated to coconuts so the kids could enjoy the water park. Going to swim off the dock now and plan for tomorrow!

We launched out of Port Washington. I’m not sure how far we went out but it felt like 5-10 miles and we LOVED it.. Felt like we had the lake to our selves (Yes, we had cellular service). I couldn’t get over how blue the water looked underneath the white bottom of my boat. It was absolutely gorgeous. I wish I got a picture.
