That is Thayers Beach in Colchester, a quick ride from Malletts Bay. It used to be accessible only by boat until recently when the town opened up access from the road.
This wasn't my last time out, more like 2 weeks ago.
My friend lost his boat Purple Rain." He ran out of gas and was being towed in by another friend. Big cruiser came around dead man's curve and his wake swamped Purple Rain. In 30 seconds it was under water. No one was hurt. But this goes to show you boating safety is a must. Shit can happen when you least expect it.

Going through my photos from vacation, found my last outing - lol. Zipping across Lake Seneca to get to the ramp as quick as possible in rough water, due to the multiple holes in my hull.
