We are delighted you have found your way to the best Jet Boaters Forum on the internet! Please consider Signing Up so that you can enjoy all the features and offers on the forum. We have members with boats from all the major manufacturers including Yamaha, Seadoo, Scarab and Chaparral. We don't email you SPAM, and the site is totally non-commercial. So what's to lose? IT IS FREE!
Membership allows you to ask questions (no matter how mundane), meet up with other jet boaters, see full images (not just thumbnails), browse the member map and qualifies you for members only discounts offered by vendors who run specials for our members only! (It also gets rid of this banner!)
The rentals there are dangerous!I forgot to mention we saw the ice cream boat yesterday. He had one heck of a line of customers as he pulled into the cove. Business is good for that man!
@Rod5 when we left the sandbar yesterday we were just going to pick up my brother in law at a dock in grand lagoon. We came back and anchored where you guys were but y'all had gone off. It was certainly clearer water there but not as much sea life where we were originally anchored. I snorkel for a bit and found a lot of fish eating off the sea grass and sea weed.
When we came back and anchored at the sandbar I was diving and my wife said some jet skis nearly took me out and came by the boat within 5 feet or so! I don't think a dive buoy or flag would have helped as most of those people are renters with zero boating experience. You can always spot them as they don't know the rules of channel navigation. Passed so many rental pontoons not knowing the rules for who has the right of way too.
Yeah I posted it on here, I still get fired up when I think about itI think I remember that story too if you posted it on here. I'd be fuming and would probably shoot him with my flare gun haha.

Curry Chicken tacos sound awesome...I might have to go down there with the fam this weekend....by car....Yep I had the Diver burger, wife had the Crab Trap, and a friend of ours had a Slaw Burger. All were fantastic! View attachment 43428
It's an addiction! And my favorite one too. That sounds a little disturbing Bennie. I think you need help...
Come on Friday! Can't wait to go get my Just the Cook burger and eat it on my swim deck!
Just getting back in town and checking the Forum. Unfortunately @Bennie, if you're headed to Panama City this weekend, we are forecast for heavy amounts of rain and flooding. City of Destin is passing out sandbags for our homes here. Expecting the worst, and hoping for the best.
