Dragging the FSH to Port St Joe in a couple weeks for first taste of Saltwater. Planning to stay inshore or not far off. Looks like Redfish, Snapper and maybe Trout will be targets. Any tips? Anything else we should be after?
TIA
Randy

You should check to see if scallops are still in season (dont think they are). Redfish and Trout are around. And flounder should be on your target list if you are in the bays. Can fish for them on the bottom or gig them with a light at night. Red snapper would be off shore in deep water on submerged structure. There are smaller snapper in the bays. Tight Lines Man.

Thanks for the reply and fishing tips!
Nice looking inn, but my travel director ( wife) has us a VRBO on the beach that has room for our dogs, in laws & kids and granddaughter. . With that crowd I will be out to sea as much as possible! :)
Cheers.
