Show us your tow rigs!

All these people getting 2500 diesel's lately make me want one instead of the EcoDiesel. Great looking truck @Rob9550

Congrats, there is nothing better than towing with a diesel.

No doubt! I was watching the trans temp just driving home from the dealer and it was around 168-170. First time out with the boat and the temp was 172. Truck didn't even know the boat was back there!

I looked at the Eco but the price was insane compared to the 2500. The capacity was much less than expected also. I got this truck knowing it will be the last one for at least 10 years.

Go get one, you only live once!!

I looked around for about 6 weeks and got a pretty good deal. I think you could trade the Eco in and not lose your ass @2nazt

Maybe when I upgrade boats but I can't beat the economy and price I paid for my Eco. I'll take 24mpg and 18-20 towing I have no need for bigger YET. Lol.

Getting that kind of mileage is great.

2014 Chevy Silverado LTZ; 6.5' Bed; 6.2l; 420 hp; 460 fp Torque; 3.73 Rear End
Has a max tow load of 12,500 lbs, so it tows my 242 like it isnt there....except when I look at the fuel gauge :)

Use two different tow rigs depending on length of haul, one matches the bow and cockpit cover and the other matches the factory tow/mooring cover.;)0915160839a.jpg 0915160842.jpg

Bought a new tow vehicle over the weekend. Pick her up tonight after work. This summer we had been towing the boat with the wife's Nissan Xterra, this should be a lot nicer ride

2015 Sierra 1500 SLE. 5.3. Pulls the AR192 like it isn't there. I love how quiet it is in the cabin.

I like the new location of a badge on the Chevy (up high forward of the mirror)

Does anyone tow a 21 with a new Ford Explorer, with the standard V6? I'm looking at getting a new AR210. If so can I get some reviews. I currently have an F150 and considering a Explorer or Expedition. Thanks.

Love my Silverado! 6.2L is a beast!

My wife's Yukon Denali has the 6.2 and AWD. The few times I have towed with it, it doesn't even know my 242 is behind it. Stout motor for sure.

The highest I have seen my Allison Transmission Temp towing was 148 pulling some steep grades. Was shocked to say the least.

This is my tow rig. It was what I wanted when I was young but couldn't afford back then. It is a 1997 Chevy Tahoe, 2dr, 4x4 with a few redneck tweaks. I got it 3 years ago from the original owner, a guy my age who had it since new. His wife made him get it rid of it when he got a RangeRover. I told him to make sure that he got an extended warranty on that thing with the money I paid for this. It has every receipt since new, Alcoa rims, leather and all that along with the 5.7 Vortec workhorse with 151k on it. This thing has been garage kept since new and I still keep it in the garage. You don't find many this clean.

The boat ramp is a few hundred yards from my house so there is no reason to have a new truck. I have a company F150 and my wife has a Yukon Denali with the 6.2 but I rarely tow with those.
