When camping, my wife tows the boat with our ‘06 Buick Rainier, while our ‘13 Chevy 2500 HD CCSB 6.0 4x4 sees Jayco duty. Otherwise the HD is put to work.

I go back and forth on if I should have gotten the 6.2L or not. I hard a damn hard time finding the GMC I have, couldn't find any with the options I wanted and the 6.2L. Several of them were marked that way in the advertisement, but none were actually that engine when I investigated further.

The Durango was out of warranty and showing its age. We were looking for a Yukon Denali, but the dealership had this Certified used for less $$ than the used Yukon we were looking at. 5.5 years and 86,000 miles of warranty left for $18k less than new.

New to me 2008 3500HD duramax. Just bought to pull the fifth wheel so it will rarely see boat towing duty. Needs a little TLC and I am willing to give that to it for the price I paid. I think the 2 look good together!!

I can't lie I love my 2008 F250 also and it has WAY more power then the Duramax but in a cross wind towing the fifth wheel the Duramax is rock solid.

My truck does double duty as a tow vehicle and desert exploration vehicle. It even averaged a respectable 10.9MPG on a recent trip towing the boat from Las Vegas to Lake Powell. Not bad for a midsized truck with a V6.

Interesting. I had to look it up. So jeep added a new V6 motor to the line up? I thought it was a typo too. HAH!
