In Colombia my freaky compatriots put guava paste on the pizza. Wtf.
I spent several years stationed in Central and South America and thankfully didn't come across that. I can't imagine how that would taste.

I don’t ignore anyone.

There are a couple people on each side of this argument who will reliably post inflammatory stuff and you are one of them.

Edit: you are correct that I haven’t called out others for their tone (like @swatski ) but you were obviously referring to my recent question for @Lurch so I replied.

I’m obviously using hyperbole but it’s not the first time I’ve mentioned it to you and others have as well.

Now that we got that out of the way are going bad tone hunting because I am locked and loaded. Looking forward to your next post. But please go easy on them because some of them are very sensitive.

How about considering productive discussion instead.

So are you a troll or a Russian bot? You joined this site a month ago and 95% of your responses are in this thread. Pretty sure you don’t even own a boat so did you just come here to post in this thread? Serious question because it has been asked of others.

LOL, good thing you are not an Investigator, otherwise we would have to send you back to school, Investigations 101! :)

Actually, I believe that today marks my two month Anniversary! Happy Anniversary to me. :)

Yes, I have posted a lot on this vaccine thread. However, if you bothered to look at my postings, you would have seen that I have posted on a lot of other threads, and even started a few of my own.

It's true I don't have a boat right now. Sold my last boat (a trailerable sailboat) last year. Next boat purchase is on hold while my wife and I build our retirement home. We have been under contract since February and hope to move in by the end of the calendar year. Then we will get serious about the next boat. I have, of course, discussed all of this in my other posts.

I came to this forum looking for information of jetboats, as I believe this will be next boat purchase. Don't know if it will be a Yamaha or Scarab, as there are things I like about both boats. Wanted to buy new, but with the current wait, high OTD prices, we likely will buy something a few years old at least for the short term. Again, mentioned in my other posts.

I love science, am a lifelong pubic servant and have dedicated my career (almost at the end) to public health. If I can add any factual information to the discussion, I will attempt to continue to do so.

Lastly, I'm pretty sure that I am not as a bot, as how could a bot have my sense of humor! :p

Thanks for clarifying. I was making sure you were not a Russian troll because some people believe we are being over run by them. That sense of humor thing we can discuss later.

Congratulations on retirement and hope you have a long and safe one.

Thanks,

Not quite there on the retirement, but hopefully sometime next year. It depends, in part, how much money we have (or more realistically don't have) after we move into the house and I get the extra projects done! :)

Lol...Sorry, @2kwik4u - I've got a citation and everything:cool:
Why just two toppings?

I delivered for Pizza Hut in a previous life. Worked closing shift most nights, and would bring home a pie for the my grandparents (who I lived with at the end of High School) every night. They started requesting weird stuff to try new things. They landed on a medium thin crust with Chicken, Jalapeno, Green Pepper, Tomato, and Pineapple. It was the most colorful pizza you've ever seen. Still some of my best memories sitting around the kitchen table at 4 in the morning eating that pizza and playing Ms. Pacman on the Atari (they kept the Atari despite it being the late 90's at this point).

I do appreciate the citation, however I'm unsure on the credibility since it's just another forum full of yaywho's who think they know what they're talking about :D :D

It’s really kind of strange how no one gets upset over different ideas of how to fix a boat…..:. “I think it happened because you sucked up sand”. “You have a bad sensor”. But anything slightly political….. “Go pound sand”! “You have no sense”! It’s all fun and games, until everyone is mad at you, and no one will tell you how to yank your pump. I haven’t had to yank my own pump yet, but if I ever do, I’d like for there to be people willing to help, instead of just laughing at my predicament.
I will help you pull your pump even if i disagree with you

Says the guy who has posted in this thread and this thread only since June.

I want to understand how adverse effects varied when combining the vaccines and what work was done to find optimal dosing but this is exciting.

Man. I love these mRNA vaccines. I don't know enough to understand what GMT of IgG is. Probably have to read the manuscript or Dr Swatski may know.

But, one shot for protection against Flu, RSV, and COVID. Yes please. For the love of god also make that available for kids.

GMT of IgG is

Short version is strength of immune response by IgG antibodies.

GMT is Geometric mean titer.

I see this in publications frequently but we do need Dr. Swat for context. Especially regarding IgG vs IgM and IgA.

This has some context on IgG vs IgA.

I do not believe that the data or study details for the Moderna combination chart have been published yet.

The IgA is mostly the mucosal subtype, produced by mucosa-associated plasma cells (terminally differentiated B cells producing antibodies) in body linings - so it matters a lot for resistance to infection, those IgA molecules have some special properties as they are dimers and are secreted. etc etc.

Keep in mind so far little has been said about T cell responses and that is the key to the establishment of immunity/immune memory.
Measuring T cell priming is A LOT more difficult than testing antibody (Ig) titers.

Is T cell response what passes from mother to child?
