Thoughts and demo rides of wake / towsports boats: Moomba Max, Axis A22, MB Sports

Awesome pics haknslash! Wave is looking goooood! Glad you're enjoying the wakeboat experience. Just for fun, here are a few pics from the Lake Tahoe trip we just came back from. Running a bit lighter than normal but still somewhere north of 4,400 lbs of ballast (about 600 less than we run at low elevation). Fun fun! Every time I see your pics and that lovely blue water I get jealous I’ll likely never see something like that lol. Looks so nice!!

Gotta love the blue Tahoe water! What is the water temp right now?

We went to the gulf several times with the Yamaha and also with POS pontoon rentals when we didn’t take the jet boat and still did not beach. The sand is basically finely ground shells mixed with sand and I’m just anal about my gel getting scratched. I know some people don’t mind beaching but just not for me. On our lake it can get rough and the thought of a big wake coming by pounding the boat just isn’t for me and my ocd lol.
I grew up running sandbars, so it's sort of in my blood. I'm brutally OCD, hence the keelguard. In the 20 years I've been beaching I've never had any damage. Prior to keelguards really being a thing I've definitely worn a keel's gelcoat thin from beaching growing up. Got it painted, and keelguard went on. Never another issue.

Where is this and where did you find the house? VRBO? I might need to look at that for my next vacation.

Lake Martin, AL and yes found it on VRBO. I’ll send you the rental info on Sunday ?

On a different topic, got a new tow rig. We have vacation property in Central Oregon which required me to tow roughly 7,300lbs over a 4,400 foot elevation gain which took its toll on my 2013 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.3l. No more worrying about breaking down going over the mountain now. 04EEB9A7-FD78-490A-968C-A001F1A3D778.jpeg

"That's a nice outfit" (like my grandpa used to say!)

Geez. Water temps here in the 90’s ??
Tahoe is definitely not the warmest lake, situated as it is at 6,200 feet. That is part of why it is so clear. Most of the year it is in the 50s or lower. Our home lake at 400 feet of elevation is about 82 degrees right now....and pretty much green.
