Had some extra room in the garage and enough Black walnut from my Grandpas house (tree)... I figured I would build a garage bar. Lots to do but turning out pretty awesome. Plained, Joined and ripped at my buddies wood shop down the road (life goal to have that shop!).

Still working on it… few updates.80B773B0-A516-4BDB-B6EA-E7C6B37B38BF.jpeg

Now that is bad ass. Maybe a pool table, foosball, or disco ball. lol.....Great man cave. I'd love to have a golf simulator in mine if I had one.
Thanks! Still have room to keep the suv and truck in there otherwise a pool table would have made its way in for sure. I think about it all the time.
For winter I plan to get a Garmin R10 shot monitor and a mat. Couple that with one of the TVs and I already have the net. Simple golf sim to keep the rust off over the winter! 14’ ceilings so plenty of swing space.

Fantastic! Didn't realize that was your garage. Let me know how the SIM works out. Signed, jealous.

Not exactly adding value to the house but man are my girls pleased!

Throwing in my recent home improvement

Had a really small kitchen and finally took sledge hammer to it.

Putting island where table is now. Is next
Updating to 4 4" recessed lighting. To replace old fixture
New 4 door panel refrigerator is replacing current one to match cabinet doors.
Have to relocate two light switches all before re plastering.

Let me know when. I’m an adjunct and am always working on recruiting for our program. Pm me and I will give my address I’m down. Still salty we never got to meat up at Indian. And BTW… I couldn’t have even taken my boat out of the slip this year had I had it. Weeds!

Not too far from the Detroit suburbs..... I can tow the boat down no problem and we can start the weekend off in your garage :)
If there was only a good lake around Dayton…. You would be better off just enjoying the garage!

Having some new front steps installed this week. They first got rid of the old steps, then dug a 4’ x4’ x4’ deep hole, put down footings, cinder block up off the foundation 6-8’, decorative brick finish on inside/outside of the exposed cinder block. Took 5 guys 4 days, now waiting for the tops! Old steps are the last picture.

Two 16x16 triangle sails anchored to 6x6 posts.

Gives area new feel and does it job providing shade as house yard faces East.

We moved in to our next home in mid June. Took title at the start of June but had it painted and Re carpeted before we moved in (it used to be a dark brown color inside and out, see the second pic below, it also had brown carpet that smelled of the previous owners dogs). It Made a world of difference.

My wife and I painted and installed the swing on the porch that the previous owners left behind. We also bought a new high end canopy for the backyard along with new outdoor furniture.

Recently I prepped the backyard and put an above ground pool as well as a temporary cloth barrier over the backyard fence. I also installed the pool / dining / ping pong table and a dart board/cabinet/ we may re-reposition the pool when we add a deck to it. I got all my tools and RC toys up in the garage / man cave as well (see the pics with thegolf cart in the garage).

my wife ordered and installed some decals on the stairway risers and through

A few days ago I installed and subscribed to the Ring security system to supplement the previously installed Ring doorbell, cameras and light.

Finally I installed a bidet in the main bathroom, the plan was to pull all the toilet paper out of there to prank my guy friends but after using it a few times I’m starting to see the benefits over wiping my A$$ by hand (aka the traditional / conventional / old fashion way).

I got a bidet in a white elephant Christmas party last year. One of the best gifts I've had in years. They were only like $30 an amazon and are an absolute game changer.
