I always find it interesting what projects folks are working on around the house while your not out boating. Figured I would start it up. I’m sure there are some crafty boaters out there... what are you working on? Here is my latest (still have to finish crown). After and before.

Did you put a door on it? Curious as I wondered if it would be colder in the shower without a door. Looks amazing by the way!!!

No door. It heats up ok , with all the shower heads.

House was built in 93. Nothing updated. I opened a can of worms when I started ripping out the oak trim... now I am continuing on through the house. Going to keep the solid oak doors and paint them (eventually). I would prefer a different style but damn... don’t find solid doors like that without some $$$

Bathroom I redid in the basement of my last house. Said I would never do that marble tile again... year later... it’s the backsplash in the kitchen!

Wow that sounds high, but 3rd floor though. It would suck going up and down the stairs, making sure there would never be leaks. I would write a check.

7 foot long and 3 foot wide on the inner. The length used was previously a large walkin shower, a full door 30" door toiletry closet, and a soaker tub. The length is just the right length , the shower does not splash water out. It possibly could be a foot shorter though.

I don't have that width, I am at 37.5" on the outer dimension, so by the time I do 3.5" for wall and say another 1" for backer board and tile, I believe it would be too narrow in width. I do have 7' in length. Probably will just tile it out and put glass doors on it. Sucks, cause I like what you did there a lot.

I was going to guess mid 90s. My wife said 80s but the counter tops and island dated it a little newer, in my mind. The use of red oak and cathedral style raised panel doors was a leftover style element from the 80s, though. So we had a bet going on the year. I guessed 1995.
Either way, looks much better now with the shaker style cabinet doors and door moulding. Is that quartz countertops?

It’s quartz. Specifically Calcutta Massa. Supposedly since it’s all man made, it’s a common name.

Thank you. As far as the solid wood doors go, did you think about just making your own doors? They're not super hard to do, and you seem fairly handy. Probably cost less than 200 bucks apiece unless you want to use some exotic species.
