Thanks. It was last week. Sept. 15 around 6pm. I guess summer is over for a lot of people.

Fajny film. Dzięki za dzielenie się.

Thanks for the video! I haven't been there since I was 11. My parents kept a boat nearby in Mt. Sinai harbor as we lived in Rocky Point. We moved to the Philly area two weeks before Gloria hit in'85. A lot of summers sailing on the LI sound. Good stuff

Nice to see some local guys on here! I live on the north shore and occasionally launch out of Mt Sinai, but I do most of my boating out of Jamesport in between the forks. Seems to be more things to do out there, and not so many rocks haha.

Here is one of my favorite spots, Robins Island.

Thank you all.

We go there a lot. It is about 20 drive from our house.

Nice photos.
We went to Peconic Bay last year. I rented a center console from Strong's Marine in Mattituck (2 months later I bought my Yamaha jet boat). It was a lot of fun. We went to Robins Island, Jessup Neck and a beach/dune west of North Sea Harbor. My wife wants to go back there.

Where I can launch my boat there? Anything interesting near Shelter Island? Thanks

There is a Riverhead town ramp in Jamesport. Last year the fee was $15, this year it is $275 for non-residents. The state sold the ramp to the town of Riverhead and now the town is taking advantage of everyone. I still pay it though. Shelter Island is my favorite place! On the south side of the island West Neck Cove is a great place to tie up and relax. There is a restaurant in there called Salt which is real laid back. On the north side of the island you have Sunset beach where the big money yachts tie up, and there is also a restaurant. Or you can head north and hit up Greenport and spend the day at Claudios. All great destinations!

I am heading out this weekend to Greenport for the Maritime Festival. There are bunch of old sailboats and a lot of things going on. Hopefully the wind cooperates.
