Took my friends to see this show…not usually my thing but I saw a show when I was in china several years ago that was classical / historical chinese dance / theater, I love history. By the way, if you have Prime video I suggest Detective Dee, there are four episodes start with the one about the fire worms, it’s in Chinese with English subtitles..a great detective story based closely on the time period when china had its only woman ruler. A very cool thing that they did before the show started was they were adamant that cell phones be turned OFF, not silent, but OFF. I could still see apple watches lighting up and people checking their phones during the performance, they were not “in the moment” so they did not fully enjoy the experience.
Back from 10 days in Italy. 3 days in Rome, 6 days in Tuscany, back for 1 day in Rome. Man…… what an experience. Can’t wait to go back. I can say that I don’t need any pasta, pizza, or bread any time soon in the next week or so!!! Small sampling of pics from what must be 1000 pics we took!

Love the photos! Heading back there in September and can't wait - nothing wrong with a city where you order steak for dinner by the KILO! What was the name of the place with all the Michelin reviews? That's an impressive number.

Reminds me of our trip to Sardinia in '98. During the ricci di mare festival at the start of our cheese making venture with sheep milk, on the farm. Lots of wine, grappa and pecorino sardo was consumed.

Looks like you both had a great time. I enjoy Rome and have been there several time and took my wife for her first time last April. We had a good time but I have never seen so many people in the city before, maybe because covid had recently ended. Our favorite city on our trip, (to both of our surprise) turned out to be Venice, which was an easy 3 hour train from Rome. We would like to spend some time in Tuscany.

Rome is a must see, but honestly I couldn't wait to get out of there. It's a freakin zoo!! Way too many people, cars, and 2 wheeled machines zipping around everywhere. We loved exploring Tuscany in our rental car. I think of all the cities we visited we loved Cortona the best. Our plan is to go back again in a few years and do the same thing, hit one big city for 2-3 days then head to the country side for the remainder of the trip. The wife wants to make the Amalfi coast our next destination.
Quick little PPF job on these. I hate these piano black trim. They swirl even if you look at them. Had to polish the ceramic coating off of them. I had an Amazon gift card so went with a prefab kit from there. It's 3m self healing film, so it's decent. Not the best, but if I don't like it I didn't waste any of my money on it.
