2015 Yamaha Jet Boat Pictures

They did change the 3 bow cushion to a 2 bow cushion and changed the anchor box config.

Just think how many of these boats they could sell with hinged seats!!

Nice upgrades but my 12 ls will still do just fine! Nice to see yamaha adding some high end features to stay attractive vs the value of other boats.

Bimini on the 242ls looks different too. Seems to go forward of the tower now. Or is it my phone misleading me?

Yamaha boats is live now with new models

We have prices now. How do these compare to last years?

The guy on the wakeboard in the 212 video wipes out twice. I LOL'd

I like that they built paper towel and toilet roll holders into the head compartment door.

Still happy with my '09 SX230.

I like the idea of enhancing the steering and the extra storage space looks great but I would RUN - not walk - away from that all-in-0ne screen. A device like that pretty much eliminates self-support / self-service if something goes wrong with any of your electronics. When you consider that MOST dealers seem to have a so-so reputation at best, I would not be comfortable purchasing one of these.

Then there's the fact that if you don't like how the display looks you are stuck with it. You can't upgrade to different switches or gauges, you just have what you have and that's it.

In about 20 years that interface (no matter how good they make it now - and assuming it lasts) will seem dated and kludgey. (I've got an '05 suburban with a touch-screen nav/radio so I know all about that.) There will be no way to upgrade or "freshen up" the look by replacing a few switches or gauges. Once again - stuck with it.

GPS map upgrades? Even if free - or even if open-source - it will still be an old-looking interface someday. And they are NOT going to offer updates forever. Eventually they will stop supporting it (I'm looking at YOU Microsoft).

Call me old-school ('cause I am) but I don't think the folks that like to work on their own boats or customize their boats are going to be super-fond of this electronics package.

And yeah, they've priced themselves out of my range anyway so I guess I'd be looking at a second-hand boat if I were looking now.

Maybe I'm nuts - but they seem to be drifting away from the thing that led ME to buy one: Simplicity and low cost compared to other boats in their class.

This is pretty awesome for entertaining.

It looks like they have improved storage and added cup holders throughout the boat.

Even the handle on the head door is a vast improvement.
