2015 Yamaha Jet Boat Pictures

Here is a screenshot of the 2014 on top of the 2015 242 Limited boat. I have to say that I REALLY like the new hull.

I still love my 2007, and I can actually afford the payments... But if money were no object I would be walking my happy hiney to the dealer tomorrow and upgrading!

Any pics of the head/storage area? Was really hoping for a larger space more suited to a port-a-pottie.

Looks like the 212X added rear deck speakers, seadek on the rear, and a "wireless stereo remote" lol I have the 2013...happy with it considering nothing really big at all in the 14 and 15 models

There are a lot of things that I like like the glove box in hinged seats!

@GiddYupJoe they have hinged seats at least up in the bow. . . .
The rear does too. Looks like if I can't get this golf ball out I may have to go to the dealer! JK, it would take more than a stuck golf ball for me to upgrade right now. I like how almost all features that have been complained about on the forums have finally been addressed. All the way down to not having to flip my hand upside down to use the throttles.

Gotta say I'm impressed. It seems much more refined than my AR, and I love the storage behind the swim deck back rests. Hinged seats look nice, but it looked in the video like it reduced the opening size considerably? I agree with others, would like to see photos inside the head compartment. I agree with @Volffas , love the new hull design. I'm a little disappointed that they didn't install from the factory ballasts in the ar240 though.

ah yes...now I see...the new hull...I like the lines on the bow! Not as much dive towards the water! Looks great!

Nothing in Yamaha's offer in the attached pic says anything about a year model. I bet you could raise Cain and get it on a 2015.

oh wow. new tower. folding seats. wet storage. the little bar. new storage features in the port closet...all in all a lot of really nice stuff and $61K still crushes the competition

Upon further review... I don't like the graphics on the A240's, I think they are actually a step backwards. I like the new touch screen, but I don't see the point in the "joystick". If it's only purpose is to adjust volume (as shown in the videos) I think it is unnecessary. The hinged seats look nice, but the bow seats flip back, I wonder how that will work when towing without a cover on? I really like the higher freeboard, especially with young kids and boating in areas with large waves. The storage behind the seat cushions on the swim deck should have been added years ago! I'm not sure about the new tower and the bimini top that goes with it, it doesn't look near as stout as past models. I think the keel and rudder will work wonders towards slow speed handling and driving a straight line, @JetBoatPilot needs to figure out how to get a rudder on my 2007!

Overall I am happy that Yamaha has listened to it's customers and came out with another great product!

I like the new 240/242 towers - really like the tow point light - I find the rudder interesting - love the transom storage. But that touch screen is 50/50 for me. It looks good and Yamaha has to step it up to compete, but I simply don't trust them, regardless of the boat manufacturer. I've seen those screens repeatedly freeze on $90k wake boats and give my friends fits. They require regular software updates that only a dealer can do.

I'm very happy with my 13' 212x. No remorse after seeing the 2015s.

I am extremely surprised, disappointed that there no fishing boats. My brother has been dieing for a Yamaha center console. Oh well!

I bet that new tower on the AR 240 is easy to fold. Much easier than my 2013.

I know it's rarely talked about but you'd think they'd up the HP in the 210 line. 220 hp keeps me from even considering it. Why not go to the 230 or 230HO motor setup in these. 280 horsepower would be huge
