    Trim Tabs on SX190

Actually, this thread was a repost from the other jet boat site...I installed these when I got the boat in 2012, so I've had 4yrs on them. I've had no issues and no maintenance other then checking that the hydraulic fluid is still full every year (that does remind me though, might be time to...

    TRIM TABS on a AR192 ????

It does much better, in 2' chop you can run 25-30mph pretty comfortably. I can't remember the last time I didn't use them, even when it's flat there's always a little pull causing you to hold the wheel, the tabs can counteract that.

    TRIM TABS on a AR192 ????

I put them on my sx190. It was a bit of a challenge on this hull, but definitely worth it. This was a few years ago and I put most of the details over here - http://yamahajetboaters.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=369&t=49435 Updated link - consolidated post...

    Naples to Key West Trip...???

Someone on YJB did that run and ended up flying home to get the trailer, I think, can't remember why. I'd rather save the fuel for cruising the keys and just trailer down. It'd be really cool to take the key west express and somehow have your boat there when you arrived.

    Burning off fogging oil?

The cooling water source for the exhaust is the same as the engine. It comes from the impeller forcing water through the pickup and gets diverted through the engine and exhaust. Also, I wouldn't always pinch the pickup off the pickup line when flushing because then you're not flushing the...

    iOS 8 warning

I've had no issue with v8, but v8.0.1 was undoubtably premature. The space issue for the upgrade is a bit overplayed, it's temporarily needed for the ATO update, and that much space isn't needed if the update is done via iTunes.

    VOIP

All my visitors have mobile phones. Even though I have young kids I haven't started using a babysitter, but I assume either they'd have a mobile phone, or I'd leave mine. My sons will probably have their own phones well before they should. Can't blame you though, I do miss chats with...
