    Towing tubes with extra rope

I had a normal tube rope 60' and then bought a 2 section tube rope on amazon 50' & 10'. Attached the 10 to the 60 works great, twin engine.

    Towing tubes with extra rope

I tow a tube with a 70' rope and have zero issues. I can do anything that I could do with a 60' and the kid doesn't get sprayed in the face. We use a super mable.

    excessive water in boat, solved

Towards the end of last year I had been pumping what I deemed a large amount of water from the bilge while underway. I have never had much water in the bilge area since I have owned the boat so this had me concerned. I checked all the usually trouble spots that people from here have talked...

    not another Trim Tabs thread

Yes, you can use them to fix the pull problem in windy situations. You just drop the one on the opposite side where the wind is blowing. Most of the time I don't have to steer the boat with the wheel. I just make small adjustments with the tabs. I also have cobra fins.

First Boat trip... Lake of the Ozarks bound!

depends on what mile marker your staying at. Im up at the 55mm and the water is awesome 24/7, but anything below the 30mm it will be really rough on the weekends. Lots of restaurants on the water to boat to. HaHa tonka park you can also boat to. My kid likes big surf water park in osage...

MEGA FANGs Cobra AK Power Steering: Doughnuts In Reverse

I installed my mega fangs this weekend and noticed the same spray. Was planning on looking into it more this coming weekend.

    water flow from pee holes

From the research I've done on this site it doesn't look like I have an issue but I want to make sure before memorial weekend gets here. I have always had a good amount of water flow out of the pee holes when in neutral. When I ran the boat for the first time my water flow was normal and...

Question for those with a Hydrohoistlift

make sure the bunks on the lift are setup for a v bottom boat and are spaced apart properly. I set my lift bunks to mimic what the spacing is on the trailer. If the bunks are spaced too far apart the bottom of the boat will hit the framing on the tank. Make sure you take it slow the first...

MEGA FANGs Cobra AK Power Steering: Doughnuts In Reverse

Did you have the original fangs installed prior to the mega's? I have the original fangs currently, 1 mounted on the outside of each nozzle, and I never really noticed any difference with those installed. If there was it was very minor and not worth the money IMO. I love the ultimate's but...

    Vectors or cobras?

I completely agree with swatski on this comment. Before the ultimates when i would slalom i could pull the back of my boat all over the place and it was very annoying. I also boat in the ozarks where traffic is sometimes an issue and its a great feeling to have the boat planted to the water...

    The Chaparral jet boats...

Just talked to a chap dealer today at the overland park, ks boat show. He said they will be releasing a 26 footer at the end of the year. If they do hopefully that pushes Yamaha to a bigger boat.

How to cover on a lift with a tower?

I dont know much about the airdocks but you would have room to put walking boards like this on a hydrohoist type boat lift.

    Violated

I just had a friend who's boat was broken into a few weeks ago. They got 3 amps and the head unit for some reason they didnt like his speakers and left those. Has progressive for insurance and he said they have been awesome to deal with. His boat was in a storage unit also. I know he filed a...

    Soundcow Soundproofing

It took 2 sheets. If you have a bulb seal or pipe insulation already installed you will need to remove for ease of install. Besides this insulation seals up better than the bulb seal i had around the engine hatch.

    Soundcow Soundproofing

I only did the back of the engine compartment because i had some left over and thought i would be better back there than the ski locker.

    Soundcow Soundproofing

The material was pretty easy to work with. The biggest pain was if you need to trim a small amount off. You will need lots of razor blades. For the majority of the cuts i used a siding scissors and it worked great.

I have been wanting to do something for awhile and after alot of research on this site and the other i decided to go with this product from http://www.soundproofcow.com/Foam-Composites/ When i get my boat back on the lake i'll post the decibel readings from before and after. I had it out...
