2018 Bimini June trip (June 24th - June 30th)

Last year a couple of boats took damage from the bow anchor breaking free and bouncing around. This is amplified in my case since I've removed my bow ladder, and those black plastic clips are ridiculous .
I scored some dense packaging foam from work that fits well in my application, to compress between the anchor and hatch cover. Anyone find merit in this ? I can cut a few more strips and bring them (?)

Great idea. I was considering cutting up a pool noodle. I got a Fortress which is much lighter but still don’t want it bouncing around.

Looking at the Extended seven day forecast June is starting off nice and smooth hopefully the next 2 months are like this.

theres a small group going over Saturday just for one night, I was so tempted but I couldn't justify the cost for just one night :dead:

I'm not going to be able to make the trip.
My condo and Bahia Mar room will be available if any one is interested...

The only way I find this acceptable is if you won a free trip to Hooter's World that week or some thing.

Well at least someone was working on a fun result project. My ass was crammed under the rear seat running hoses for the aux bilge pump. It is nice to get down there and find out that Yamaha already cut the hole for you to get the hose back to the rear bilge.

So did you mount your pump in rear bilge or beside the original bilge pump?

Rear bilge. I used 5200 to mount the pump frame a couple days ago came back today so it had time to dry and put the pump in the frame ran wiring to the battery compartment and the hose through the hole pictured above. It pump with an auto switch so I don’t have it hooked to a manual switch or anything.

@tim h hope all is well. if not and there is something we can do please drop us an PM.

On the positive side, 2019 is just 400 days away

No switch? So the pump is polling while in garage? Or is it a float switch?
