who else has played around with the CBP ROAM app? My first assumption was that this app was complimenting the paperwork for visiting customs. After I looked closer it appears it can replace SVRS and the need to visit customs when returning.
You guys need to verify this on your trip for sure! I already downloaded the app and would love to use it instead of any customs stop with three tired crabby kids

I already had the app downloaded and all my crewmembers entered, ROAM's usability was still questionable when I did it so this is good news to me, too, as I will also have three tired crabby kids in tow.
no, you need to settle up balance due 14 days before arrival......slip is assigned at arrival.......in 2014, 1/2way thru the week they "reassigned" my slip to another boat....It was a pleasure to walk to the dock and see your boat moved into a crowded corner....dock master had no explanation or care.
speaking of that...these docks are geared for large boats. 40ft/50 ft? or even more.....is sharing a slip an option at all ?. more of a busy statement than a dollar one.....
I shared a finger of slip with another boat in 2014. The cost was the same. But both boats had a slip close to their condo and it was not a problem for either of us.
I know that the POA has discouraged rental of slips outside of our group during our trips.

Under Travelers: I added my SVRS number under Trusted Traveler/LOB Program. When I called in Last year the officer told me Local Boater number is same as SVRS.
Last year a couple of boats took damage from the bow anchor breaking free and bouncing around. This is amplified in my case since I've removed my bow ladder, and those black plastic clips are ridiculous .
I scored some dense packaging foam from work that fits well in my application, to compress between the anchor and hatch cover. Anyone find merit in this ? I can cut a few more strips and bring them (?)
